About the Role
The Policy Advisor of AI is key in navigating the complex regulatory and ethical landscape of AI. They ensure compliance with laws and ethical standards, advising on AI policies and anticipating future challenges.
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the implementation of comprehensive AI strategies that align with the company's vision, mission, and objectives.
Collaborate with various business units to identify opportunities for AI integration that can drive business value and improve performance.
Lead cross
functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of AI projects, from inception through to deployment and evaluation.
Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness and impact of AI initiatives on business outcomes.
Stay abreast of the latest AI trends, technologies, and best practices to inform strategy and maintain competitive advantage.
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the organization regarding AI capabilities and applications.
Manage the AI project portfolio, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and projects are prioritized based on strategic importance.
Liaise with external partners, vendors, and research institutions to explore collaborative opportunities and stay ahead of the AI curve.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in the deployment of AI technologies.
Provide thought leadership and advocacy for AI within the organization, including training and mentoring staff on AI
related matters.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong understanding of AI technologies, machine learning algorithms, and data analytics.
Proven experience in strategic planning and project management.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Ability to communicate complex AI concepts to non
technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem
solving abilities.
Proficiency in AI
related software and tools.
Knowledge of industry
specific regulations and ethical considerations related to AI.
General skills in negotiation, collaboration, and change management.
